Rent a kayak duo with equipment from Oulu's Nallikari and enjoy the city's most beautiful scenery on your own.

Our rental shop is perhaps located in the best spot in Oulu, at the landing site of the paddling routes of River Oulujoki Delta, right at the heart of seaside Oulu, in front of Nallikari beach, on the ground floor at street level of the Aalto hotel building.

Additionally, we have a container rental at Mustasalmi beach, from where we can hand over the kayaks, for example, on windy days. This allows you to start your paddling directly from the sheltered Mustasalmi, from where you can quickly access the River Oulujoki Delta.

For those renting kayaks, Nallikari offers magnificent facilities, as right from our rental shop, you can head out to sea or to the River Oulujoki Delta. To reach this, you can choose your route through the scenic Mustasalmi channel or perhaps through the cultural landscape of Toppilansalmi. Embark on a self-guided paddling adventure with your friends.

During the summer season, from June 1 to August 31, our rental is open every day from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (weather permitting). To ensure the availability of equipment at your desired time, we recommend making an advance reservation through our booking system. Just check the calendar for a free slot and make a reservation!

What if the wind surprises you at Nallikari on the day of rental?

No worries! We have a backup plan: You can pick up the kayaks just a few minutes' walk away directly from the beach of Mustasalmi, where one of our rental containers is located. This way, you can start paddling directly from sheltered waters (we will inform you separately if we change the starting point).

Our rental kayak duos are mainly Rainbow Oasis Twin -kayaks, which are especially suitable for beginners. They are easy, stable, and track well. The kayaks have front and rear hatch covers, 4-point foot supports, and a deck net. Suitable for paddler sizes S-XL.

Rental prices:

  • 2 hours: 40 €

  • 3 hours: 45 €

  • 5 hours: 55 €

  • 8 hours: 65 €

We also rent kayaks to groups outside the times visible in the booking calendar and deliver elsewhere in Oulu. If your group size is at least 4 people or you want to rent a kayak for several days, please contact +358 20 731 0110 / info@nallikarisafaris.fi
