Sliding snowshoes

We rent sliding snowshoes and poles for independent trekking at the reception of Nallikari Holiday Village in Oulu

Sliding snowshoe trekking provides an active way of experiencing the frozen sea and foresty areas of Hietasaari, Oulu. It doesn’t require previous experience and is suited for anyone with a basic fitness. Sliding snowshoes enable faster and more effortles trekking than traditional snowshoes. 

When you book a rental on our website the sliding snowshoes and poles are available for pickup at the selected time at the reception of Nallikari Holiday Village (Leiritie 10, 90510 Oulu).

From the holiday village there's a direct access along the snow to the wintery seaside and forest landscapes of Hietasaari.


The reception of Nallikari Holiday Village is open:

from Sep. 1 to May 31 from 9 am to 9 pm daily

from Jun. 1 to Aug. 31 from 8 am to 11 pm daily 

PLEASE NOTE THAT ON DECEMBER 24 & 25 THE RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY BETWEEN 12 AND 4 PM.

Sliding snowshoe rental prices:
2 h - 20 €
3 h - 25 €
8 h - 35 €


Please note that we also rent bikes with a delivery to a selected location and arrange guided fatbike safaris.
